The Lodge can be approached from Kampala in the following ways:

Through Mbarara Town approximately 5-6 hour drive (363Km) on a tarmac highway; or

Through Fort Portal a 5-7 hour drive (376km) on a tarmac highway.

Mbarara Route

The Lodge is off the main Mbarara-Kasese tarmac road 100km North of Mbarara. About 80km down this route, the drive is through beautiful countryside dominated by Kyamuhunga Tea estates which borders an expanse of the Magnificent Maramagambo thick tropical forest. About 3kms from Ndekye town, you turn off to the left of the highway on to a gravel road.  The lodge is located about 2kms from the highway.

Fort Portal Route

From Fort Portal, drive about 76kms to Kasese Town, then continue on the Kasese-Mbarara Highway which for the most the way passes through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Drive across the Katunguru Bridge over Kazinga Channel (about 38kms from Kasese). Approximately 24kms from the bridge, turn off to the right of the highway on to a gravel road. The lodge is about 2km from the main road.
